Got up at 07:00 and had a shower, then went for breakfast. The stench of spew in the corridor was over powering and I had to hold my breath on the way. There was no one at breakfast and I thought I had missed it so I went back to my room to get some cup noodles. It was then that I realized I had forgotten to put my watch back an hour and everybody was still asleep. Funny, as I changed the computer network clocks and I changed my alarm clock (which went flat overnight), but I forgot to change the time on my watch.

Once again I spent most of the day sorting out more email issues and computer setup issues. I printed the daily news, crossword & cartoons. Keldyn was much better after getting another injection today. I saw several pods of whales; one pod went right under the ship. There were many small birds flying around also and I threw the 20^th moth out of the radio room. Not sure where they keep coming from, unless it’s the same one that keeps flying back through another door? I had some prawns for lunch which were great.

I was told I will not be involved with the Davis resupply and will have to stay on board the ship as the radio operator; that pissed me off no end. We have also been asked to volunteer to do a survey for NASA to help in sending astronauts to Mars. It involves keeping a diary and writing your thoughts on other expeditioners every day. I’m not really interested and might give it a miss. I spent a couple of hours reading training notes, sorting information and cleaning up all my training files on the computer. I might start on all my music tomorrow.
