Sunday 5th January 2014

Today was a perfect day, warm, sunny and no wind. Most people were off station and I was one of the few stuck here regretting it. I did ARPANSA and then did a heap of chores. I went for a walk down to the transmitter building but there was a radio blackout and all reception was dead.

Keldyn and I decided to get back into finishing off our ice axes so we went down to the chippies workshop and we both made a handle out of some hard wood on the lathe. Later I went for a long walk over towards west bay. After dinner I watched a movie and a couple of documentaries.
